Absorption/Transmission

Material:

Energy (keV): (must be between 3 and 400)
Wavelength (A): (Energy must be set to 0 to use the wavelength)

Thickness (micrometer)

Packing ratio ..... optional

Transmission
Absorption

The data used in this script were obtained from NIST Physical Reference Data.
Since the absorption is calculated by interpolation, results around an absorption edge may not be correct.
Note that absorption may not be proportional to the energy transfered to the material. This means flourescence or dose may not be proportional to absorption.
